User Image About John G. Tansey:
John provides strategic leadership and direction for Dartmouth College’s extensive array of foreign study and student exchange programs. Programs operate in 30+ countries and enroll more than 600 students annually. John joined the office in 2001 and has held the position of Executive Director since 2003. He has extensive experience in the areas of education abroad, international programs management, and crisis response. Earlier in his career, John worked with the Peace Corps in Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, the Republic of Georgia and the Philippines. John received his BS in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University and his Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies from Dartmouth College.
