Staff John G. Tansey
John provides leadership and direction for the College's signature international education and domestic study programs, promoting the delivery of safe, high-impact, educational experiences at locations around the world. The Guarini Institute operates programs in 30+ countries, enrolling more than 600 students annually. John joined the office in 2001 and has held the position of Executive Director since 2003. He has extensive experience in the areas of education abroad, higher education administration, governance, community development, and crisis response. Earlier in his career, John worked with the Peace Corps in a variety of field-based positions, and also spent several years as a research administrator. John received his Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS) from Dartmouth College and earned a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University.
