The Off Campus Programs office monitors world events very closely. All programs are proceeding as scheduled. Students are encouraged to contact their airlines before traveling to receive updated information on restrictions and security procedures. As general advice, we recommend that students arrive two to three hours before the scheduled departure of their international flight to allow for security checks.
The U.S. Transportation Security Agency (www.tsa.gov) and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration--Air Traffic Control Command Center (www.fly.faa.gov/flyfaa/usmap.jsp) are good sources of information about U.S. airline security procedures that are periodically updated.
Members of the Dartmouth community and their families may also wish to visit the International SOS website (www.internationalsos.com) to obtain access to the latest worldwide health, safety and travel advice compiled by the organization for Dartmouth and ISOS's other clients. Access to member benefits via the website is obtained by logging in to the website with the Dartmouth College group membership number printed on your SOS card. Please contact Off-Campus Programs or Dartmouth's Office of Risk and Internal Controls Services if you require assistance logging in to the International SOS website.
